Welcome to Miss Tricker Tools — a free website with online tools you can use right in your browser.
What this site is
We build small, practical tools for everyday tasks: calculators for quick math, converters for units and formats, and text tools for writers and students. We also publish short how-to guides that walk you through each tool with real examples, so you always know what to click and what the answer means.
Who it is for
Students checking homework answers. Freelancers and office workers doing fast calculations. Bloggers and writers cleaning up text. Parents helping kids with schoolwork. Anyone who needs a quick result without installing an app or signing up for an account.
Why everything is free
Useful tools should be available to everyone. There is no sign-up, no download, and no fee — you can use the tools as often as you like, and we plan to keep it that way.
What you will find here
- Calculators for math, finance, and everyday numbers
- Converters for units, measurements, and common formats
- Text tools for counting words, changing letter case, and tidying up text
- Practical guides with step-by-step examples
Every tool is built to be simple and fast. If something is missing or not working the way you expect, tell us through the Contact page — we read every message.
How we work
Miss Tricker Tools is a small editorial site, not a content farm. Every guide on this site is written to answer one specific question properly — the kind of question a person types into a search box at 11 pm when they need an answer before tomorrow morning. We explain the method, show the working with real numbers, and point out the mistake most people make, because a guide that only gives the formula has only done half the job.
Our free tools are built the same way. Each tool runs entirely in your browser: the numbers you type never leave your device, and nothing you paste into a text tool is sent to us or stored anywhere. We test every tool with real inputs before publishing it, and we re-test it whenever the page is changed. If a tool ever gives a wrong answer, tell us through the Contact Us page and we will fix it — a wrong calculator is worse than no calculator at all.
What we do not do
We do not copy content from other websites, we do not publish articles we have not checked, and we do not dress up a thin page as a guide. A topic gets published only when we can explain it better than a one-line answer — with an example, with the edge cases, and in words a beginner can follow. If a topic cannot support that, it does not get a page.
We also keep this site free and open. There is no sign-up, no paywall, and no account needed for any tool. The site is supported by advertising, which is why you may see ads on some pages; the ads never change what a guide says or what a tool calculates.
Who this site is for
Beginners, mostly. Students working out a percentage for homework, someone checking their BMI before a doctor’s visit, a shopkeeper splitting a bill, a new driver estimating a journey. If you already know a topic well, our guides will feel basic — that is deliberate. They are written for the person who is meeting the topic for the first time and wants to get it right, not just get it done.
